End of Life (EOL) Statement for IDT IPTV Product Set

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to inform you of the End of Life (EOL) plan for our IDT IPTV product set. This decision has been made after careful consideration.

Final Software Release:
The final release of software for the IDT product set will be on April 1, 2025. This release will include the latest updates and enhancements to ensure the product’s optimal performance. While this release will mark the conclusion of new feature developments, we wish to assure you that the system will remain fully operational beyond this date.

Support Policy Post-EOL: 
Following the final software release, Aura will continue to honour support contracts for as long as the product is maintainable. This means that we will continue to address critical security vulnerabilities and provide assistance with existing functionalities.

Our support will include:

• Assistance with any issues related to the final software release.
• Guidance on maintaining the stability of the product.
• Address Critical security vulnerabilities.
• Access to existing documentation and resources.

Continued Availability of Hardware:
Existing customers with a valid support contract can continue to purchase set top boxes and encoders for the IDT product set. IDT Servers and Gateways will be available for support swap outs only. We will ensure that these hardware components remain available to support your ongoing needs.

Future Planning and Transition Assistance:
In recognition of the evolving technological landscape, we are dedicated to assisting you in evaluating your current IPTV infrastructure. Our team will collaborate closely with you to ensure you have the necessary information to make informed decisions regarding any transition to new technologies at the appropriate time.

Update to EOL plan for IDT IPTV product set.

As per the EOL statement dated Jan 2025, the final IDT product update has been released and IDT is no longer being developed. While the product is no longer being developed, we wish to assure you that the system will continue to function beyond this date.

Service Life
Unfortunately, from Dec 31st 2026 Aura will no longer be able to support this product set and it will become end of service life. This includes IDT Servers, Gateways, Set top Boxes (end points), Encoders and IDT software running on system on chip screens directly.

Spares and Upgrades
We will continue to provide spares or additional end points to existing customers up until 31st Dec 2026. We can also help with any upgrades that need to be carried out on older systems up until the same date.
