AV Design & Delivery:
RIBA Framework

RIBA Framework

At Aura, we know that delivering successful, future-proofed customer projects goes far beyond the technology. On modern workspace projects, AV systems must be planned, coordinated, and delivered alongside the architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines, as part of industry-leading frameworks and best practices like RIBA.

Our approach

Aura aligns with the RIBA Plan of Work, the recognised framework used to manage the design and delivery of building projects. Understanding it lets us engage at the right stage, producing coordinated designs, technical documentation and installation programmes that complement the wider team. We deliver coordinated audio-visual and workspace solutions from strategic definition through to handover and long-term support.

Engaged at the right stage

We know how our solutions work within each stage of the process, and we don’t force a detailed design into an early concept conversation.

Part of the team

We work alongside architects, consultants, project managers, and main contractors, so technology is integrated into the wider project.

Long-term strategy

Our role spans planning, coordination, technical design, commissioning and long-term support, not just the install.

Integrated AV solutions at every stage:

Built for today, ready for tomorrow.

Working to the framework: Investec

Aura delivered hybrid audio-visual solution in Investec’s London HQ by working alongside the client’s design consultants and project team, Aura followed the framework through concept design, coordination, technical design, installation, handover, and use, delivering modernised spaces in a live working environment.

Aura didn’t just bring technical competence; they brought the same collaborative rigour we saw on earlier floors. We had direct access to technical leads as well as the account team, regular design reviews, transparent assumptions, and a pragmatic on-site cadence that respected a live environment.
